We get no reception at all in our new town of felicity. Sometimes we pick up AT&T towers, but for the most part my phone keeps saying "emergency calls only" on the screen. This really sucks, we just signed a new 2 yr agreement.
I have a two year contract with AT&T and there is NO coverage at all in Southern Adams and Southern Scioto Counties. I travel along US 52 a lot from Manchester to Rome and there is no coverage at all. You have to go to the Western Part of Portsmouth before you get service again I hear Verizon is putting a tower in near Manchester, Ohio. I hope AT&T does as well or uses Veirzon's tower. This is a busy highway and there needs to be cell towers put along this road in case of accidents or emergencies.

Signal was very poor at best and now is very directional. There is NO coverage east of MM 205 on the Ohio turnpike. At best, the coverage has been marginal for the past 2 years.

I agree with the other posts on here. There is NO cell service at all along US 52 from Manchester, Ohio to Stout and Rome, Ohio. I have AT&T and get no bars at all. This is a very heavily traveled highway and there needs to be cell service through here. It's ridiculous. What if someone has a medical emergency or a bad car accident? You obviously can't use your cell phone to get help. Houses are far apart too. I've noticed also that many areas of Eastern and Southern Brown County (along US 62) and Eastern Adams County (near Blue Creek) have no cell service either. My advice is to write, e-mail, and call Verizon and AT&T to request and encourage them to put in cell towers in these areas. It's 2009, there should be at least some coverage here!
Never have gotten reception in Minerva. Occasionally I get reception in New Franklin but it is spotty. There is a new Sprint tower on rte 183 south of New Franklin but no one I know has had any improvements.

We have land in this 15 mile stretch in Southern Ohio following US 52 next to the Ohio river. In Stout and Rome Ohio area. We have to drive 15 min. to just use our cell phones. We now have Verizon which has never picked up here. I'm looking for a cell phone that will pick up here without driving. We had trac phone 2 years ago and it picked up some time depending on where you would stand on our land. No cell phone has pick up here for 2 yrs. including sprint, verizon, att, etc. Some body please put a tower by Shawnee state park and manchester area.
