Moved to area 07 / 2010 - Can't make cell calls in Munson Twp. using T-Mobile. Have to wait until I get into Chardon or Chesterland. AT&T a little better but still spotty.

Had Fantastic reception until August 2010,... . Now I don't have any! Neither does anyone in my area! What Happened??? Verizon, you bought the Alltel towers, why did you shut them down? I sure hope you plan I putting up a New Tower in my area soon, or your gonna lose alot of people! Contract or no Contract, cell service doesn't do anyone any good if they have no service!

Cannot make or receive calls from inside my apartment. ATT tells me a 3G MicroCell will fix my problem at a cost of $150. I signed up on Skype for $2.99 a month for out going. For incoming, I go outside and check my voice mail. All this for $40 a month to ATT.

ATT needs to invest in a few more towers, this whole area has no service from ATT. I have less than a year left on my contract, and if this area isn't addressed soon, I am gone soon as the contract ends. I mean come on ATT, even Nextel has service in this area.

I miss you Alltel. Five years ago I was stuck in a contract with Verizon and had to stand in my driveway in winter if I got a call. Finally got back to Alltel and had perfact reception. Then Verizon buys Alltel. Reception is still OK until August 2, 2010. Suddenly back to the old Verizon. I have to power off my phone when I get home or it will search for service until the battery dies. I've been on the phone with them numerous times and even went to their store and these people haven't got a clue. I understand ATT also has issues in my area. Screw me.

Just got the new entry level "smart" phone to replace one I drowned. I get zero reception indoors or within 100 ft. of my house. 1 bar to no service to emergency reception west to 534 and south to rt. 5. I get 1-3 bars for less than 1 min. traveling N-S, S-N, W-E, E-W then back to zero. From Deerfield Circle to Alliance I get a consistent 2-3 bars but calls drop regardless. The old Samsung slider worked better but the coverage is far from respectable. Txt message function is 50% greater than voice (go figure) T-Mobile could care less and in basically tell customers waaa too bad, pay me!. Time to make the switch to AT&T I think. In my daily commute path noone else has coverage.

I have had Alltel for 6 years. I am in a rural area with low reception. Towers are within 3 miles. My Alltel service was outstanding even under those conditions for all that time. Since Verizon took over Alltel, there has been a steady decline and now the phones will not work in the house. Verizon is no help - there is NO incentive for them to improve rural service. I am currently checking other service providers!
