Main St. / State Route 78 intersection, Glouster, OH 45732

I have had Cingular / AT&T cell phones for many years because my husband and I both work in Athens. Although Verizon has put up towers in the Trimble / Glouster area, AT&T still has not contracted with them. There are many customers in our area that are ready to switch. I hate to do so because of the good customer service / and no problems in the past with my company-but I / and alot of others are ready to make the switch. Come on AT&T, whats the hold up? You claim "more bars in more places" than anyone.. Get us folks in Glouster Ohio some towers.
Just switched from Nextel to Sprint, figured I would go from poor to great reception... WRONG! This is HORRIBLE, and it's not just here. It has been spotty all over southeast Columbus and virtually NO signal on the other side of Lancaster. In just FIVE days, I have probably missed 50 phone calls (my business relies on my cell phone) and have had a ton of people say "I've been trying to call you, is there something wrong with your phone?" Heck, my phone never even rings half the time! This is absurd, I am switching to Verizon! If you live on the southeast side of Columbus, don't even THINK about Sprint, they suck!
County Rd.26 / Smokey Row Rd. intersection, Ironton, OH 45638

no service on county road 26,but on the hill above the high school occasional service.I own property across from the school and would gladly allow a tower on my property to enable the school and surrounding community to have cell service.I occasionally get 1 or 2 bars in an upstairs bedroom.
No reception from AT and T, just moved on rt. 647 just out of Martins Ferry Oh, and no service if I go a half a mile I get 1 bar. Switching service ASAP
Hollow Rock Campground at 1964 Hollow Rock Rd., Toronto, OH 43964

Hollow Rock is in hollow with the closest towers being GSM (Alltel / Verizon is CDMA) and hidden behind two ridges. You have to drive at least five to ten minutes to either end of the road to even raise a single bar.
Reception on U.S. 52 from Moscow, Ohio to Ripley, Ohio is nil to poor. You get 1 bar occasionally and your phone will ring in some places but not enough reception to connect the call. U.S. 52 is an extremely heavily traveled route not only by Ohioans but also by Kentuckians going back and forth to work and it is a main route across the United States. AT&T needs towers along that route in the worst way. If there is an accident that needs reported, if you have AT&T, forget it. AT&T is really the best everywhere else and I have had them all (other cell phones). I travel U.S. 52 a lot and that is my greatest concern. I'm hoping this does some good because I would really like to be able to use my cell phone on U.S. 52 in that area, at least in case of an emergency.
