I can get no reception anywhere - their "coverage" map shows 2 bars.

I can get no T-Mobile reception ANYWHERE on the lake or near it. I must go to Jefferson to the east, or to Orwell to the south, 1 / 2 way to austinburg to the north! T-Mobile shows 2 bars!

service sucks, no bars cant use my cell in my home. Called cingular, hopeless, try to restart your phone. They must think everyone of their customers is a monkey. very dissapointed.

If everyone in southeastern ohio who can't get a decent signal would just drop their service maybe these companies would do something to improve service! I have been with Alltel and Verizon. I use my cell phone due to business travel. I can't even get a signal a home on a major state highway within 5 miles of McConnelsville. Verizon promised me five new towers in Morgan County two years ago. Where are they? I just wish one company would make a sincere commitment to SE Ohio!

No reception in or around our home. We had some signal on analog (from some provider) and Sprint told us to use that and it would be free. But phone would only ring and register calls. Couldn't talk. Switched to Verizon. Perfect signal.

Verizon's coverage in Jackson Township is AWFUL! They are *supposedly* installing a tower near my location (near Jackson Friends Church) and it is supposed to be operational this spring, but I have yet to see a new tower anywhere or an increase in bars on my phone. If you make a big square with High Mill to the west, Mount Pleasant to the North, Lake-O-Springs to the east and Fulton Rd.to the south, Verizon doesn't work well or at all in the middle of that square - and THAT is a BIG square. Travel down Hills and Dales or Brunnerdale and it is the same story. Coverage down Amherst or near the intersection of Wales and Portage is nearly non-existent... .and a Verizon reseller is located there! How interesting! Verizon - please get it together!

From Rte 269 in Danbury all the way to Rte 6 and into Sandusky on Venice Rd, no service. On Rte 269 from Bellevue to Rte 101 in Castalia, poor reception. Drop calls on Kelleys Island

I got Verizon 18 months ago as a new verizonwireless tower was near completion 2.5 mile from my house. I have called Verizon 3 times and they say they don't have a tower in our area. The place where purchase says can take a year to activate tower. Verizon has no communications within it's own co.

I've had both Cingular and T-Mobile (company provided phones) service. Reception is none existent south of Shakertown.

Basically no reception at all. Verizon tells me it's because I'm "near a major body of water. We don't provide coverage in such areas"! Apparently small crossroads like Boston, New York, Miami, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, etc are places where Verizon doesn't care to do business. TERRIBLE coverage from Verizon in Avon. I've had four phones (from free cheapos to a Treo and a Q). All of them flat out suck.
