I there is a cellphone tower within a mile. I used to have near perfect reception in my house on US cellular, however, on T-Mobile I must go upstairs to get shoddy reception at best; downstairs is pointless.
There is still no reception with Sprint. A tower was put in fairfax, but it only works with USCelluar.

We live in Laverne, OK and I had to have two phones from different companies to maybe get to use a cell phone. I travel alot and it sucks to not be able to use a cell phone you pay good money for. AT&T doesn't care.
We spend a lot of time at Lake Carl Blackwell, West of Stillwater over the spring / summer months. We are unable to get cell service at all. Many people at the lake have swithced to Cingular in order to gain cell phone service. This needs to be remedied.

no reception in area since AT&T merged with Cingular and did not renew agreement on towers. my friends and I hunt this area and have no contact to the outside in case of an emergency. we have tested several other phones and have 5 bars when using any us cellular phone. over fifty of us are switching phone service so we can contact our families each day for safety reasons. we had a fire and had to drive eight miles to a land line phone to summon help.
