I was told when I switched from Unicel to Verizon that the reception would be the same as the great reception I had with Unicel by January 15, then I was told February, now I am told March. Not sure what the problem is but I am paying for a huge plan that I can't use. I had exeptional coverage with Unicel all over the state of Oregon including BEND. Now I have zero coverage on the East side, North side and most of the West side of Bend. I have called multiple times and they are working on it. Asked about the plan I am paying for and no follow up per email from Verizon. I have a Chocolate, my kids have a Sway and my husband has a Blackberry. None of us have coverage. Any suggestions. Oh, we have dialed *228... .2 everyday since we purchased the plan.
I get no reception at home. Coming up the mountain from Hwy. 62 I have good recettion for 5 miles. There is a spot on top of the jackson / douglas county line that gets 2 bars. I have to go all the way to the new cut at mile post 23 before I get another spot of reception.

My phone NEVER works in this area (I live here). If it says I have reception, and I attempt to make the call, it either doesn't go through or the call immediately gets dropped.

The largest high school in the state of Oregon with over 2,500 student in attendance. And you can't get any reception inside the building. But if you go with Verizon that seems to work better. AT&T will not work. I'm not sure why they have not looked into this. The South end of Forest Grove is where all the building of new homes are taking place. I think AT&T would want to be the first to have the better coverage in this area. AT&T coverage in town is so so. I'm near 17th Ave and Kingwood St. and I lose reception in my home. I have been told that the equipment out in our area is very old. And that plays a part in the foot print or coverage we have. AT&T have no plans to improve it at this time.

Lose reception heading east from Astoria at Tongue Point. No reliable reception until you get to Gnat Creek. Lose reception again as you near Clatskanie. Reception acquired leaving Clatskanie until you approach Rainier. Very frustrating.

We loose reception about 1 mile up Scappoose-Vernonia Highway. I have looked at every major carrier and cannot get even 1 bar in our area. A real bummer. I have a high end PDA phone and my wife had a Nokia candy bar phone. They both loose signal in the same area.

Switched to Verizon from Edge couple Mo. ago, as Edge all of a sudden had to many dead spots, heard virizon was good, well, not where I go its no bars, won't even take messages, says its shut off. Terrible.

No reception all along Wilsonville Rd (only a main road in town) from the high school until u get to a small spot almost out of town by Brown Rd. Not happy with Cricket customer service or the phone. do not buy refurbished phones if u live in Wilsonville. the reception is lousy. Buy the right phone to even have a chance of using ur phone (because I am assuming u want to use the phone to text and call, not just have a low quality camera) if u decide to take the chance with cricket in Wilsonville.
