I-80 / Double Bridge Over Lake intersection, Brookville, PA 15825 Fri Sep 22, 2006

Reception drops to nothing at the double bridge over the lake between the Bookville and Hazen exits on Interstate 80. This is not acceptable!

Brookville Airport / Rt. 28 / Airport Rd. intersection, Brookville, PA 15825 Fri Sep 22, 2006

On the way to Summerville, driving along Rt. 28 calls always drop at Airport Rd and there is no reception around the bend past the railroad tracks. Poor reception repection returns about a half mile beyond that bend.

Old Brookville Police Dept. / Jefferson St. intersection, Brookville, PA 15825 Thu Sep 07, 2006

I live right across the street from the old police dept in Brookville. I saw them putting up an antenna on the roof back in June. A few weeks ago someone was back up on the roof again. I think they took the antennas down. There is still a signal at my house but it is no strong like it was.

President Township, Oil City, PA 16301 Sat Aug 26, 2006

The entire township of President has no coverage. I thought Sprint was bad, at least they had coverage at the peaks of the hills. Cellular One fades before you are even completely out of Oil City.

Dam / Swimming Area, Brookville, PA 15825 Sat Aug 26, 2006

Just to confirm what you said about the dam. There was a near drowning there a few weeks ago. A bad situation when there is no coverage there. I do see others on cell phones. I haven't a clue what carrier they have, but it's not Cell1.

Howe / Jenks Twps., Marienville, PA 16239 Mon Jul 31, 2006

Cellular reception is horrible just outside of Marienville. There must be a tower in Marienville, because coverage is fairly decent. Nobody in town knows where the tower is though, so it must be one of those low mounted sticks for short distance. Just off the main street the service goes... and there is no coverage in Jenks or Howe. Very bad for us emergency service folks. I am a paramedic and find it impossible in an emergency to call for directions. You really need to know the territory out here.
