4 miles along Interstate 80 in the Foxburg area are completely without coverage. This is not acceptable. In general, Cellular One has bad coverage along the interstate.
The entire township of President has no coverage. I thought Sprint was bad, at least they had coverage at the peaks of the hills. Cellular One fades before you are even completely out of Oil City.
Just to confirm what you said about the dam. There was a near drowning there a few weeks ago. A bad situation when there is no coverage there. I do see others on cell phones. I haven't a clue what carrier they have, but it's not Cell1.

Consistently drops. I like consistency. But when it's consistently bad coverage. I hate it! I don't have enought time to list all of the places where I lose coverage. Contract is up next month! Bye, bye Verizon!

nextel's reception is by far the worst in the philadelphia metro area. i've had Verizon and T-Mobile as carriers before, and never had any problems until I made one of the worst decisions of my life by choosing nextel / sprint. even after the merger, the service seems to be getting worse. not only is the reception light years away from other carriers, nextel's customer service is atrocious. i've never had such rude customer service reps since i've dined at any restaurant on city ave. bottom line, I will NEVER choose Nextel as a service provider again nor do I recommend ANYONE to choose nextel, EVER!

1 Bar performance with Verizon means NO reception. Reception can be boosted to 2 bars with the use of an external antenna (a big one plugged into the port on the back of the phone that you have to tote around with you).
Cellular reception is horrible just outside of Marienville. There must be a tower in Marienville, because coverage is fairly decent. Nobody in town knows where the tower is though, so it must be one of those low mounted sticks for short distance. Just off the main street the service goes... and there is no coverage in Jenks or Howe. Very bad for us emergency service folks. I am a paramedic and find it impossible in an emergency to call for directions. You really need to know the territory out here.
