All Sprint calls drop when getting on the Pkwy. East inbound from Oakland.

After a two year contract with Verizon and no service at my home, I went to "pay-as-you-go". I'm still with Verizon, but am changing to Cellular. Does anyone on the Ridge have service with any of the cell phone companies?

I just posted the comment on Howe Twp. Also the service in Jenks Twp is horrible too. Except for the area from just outside Marienville.

The area I am commenting on is Howe Twp., but the mailing zip code here is Marienville. Service in Howe Twp is non-existent. With the dangerous dirt roads and slick conditions in the winter, I have seen a lot of bad accidents, and been unable to immediately report them thanks to cell 1. there is a tiny bit of service in marienville and usually I have to drive that far before I can report whats going on.

Cell 1 has no reception here at the road side rest in Volant. This is the road side rest that lies between the Grove City and Slippery Rock exits. If you really need to place a call, you can stand up near the area where people walk their pets and if you hold your head a certain way, you will stay connected. Pretty bad when reception is this poor along a interstate highway!

A mile before and a mile after the St. Petersburg interchange on I80, there is no coverage, and the coverage is weak for another mile beyond that. Coverage is also very weak in the other areas surrounding St. Petersburg.

Service in Wampum area is very low probably because we are at the edge of their coverage area next to Beaver County where I think Cingular begins. Rt 18 near the Medusa cement plant there is absolutely no coverage. It's funny though how after you cross into Beaver County near Koppel where Cingular (?) beings the coverage becomes excellent.
