I use a Nextel for work. Bottom line, it sucks. Not only do you have to leave a building to use it, but even then you have to walk around until you get lucky. If you don't believe me, walk around Temple and look for people with Nextel's. They'll be hovering around doorways and windows trying to make calls. I've also heard things about Philly's emergency network conflicting with Nextel's frequency, so beware...

Very poor reception or none in this area. Verizon has good reception. I am unable to use the phone in my home. With the merger of AT&T and Cingular I would hope another tower would be implemented to resolve this problem.

Eaglestream Apts had no reception. No signal there or the whole way up to the kmart and genaurdis and the corner of Ridge Pk and Eaglestream Dr. That whole area sucks.

A friend of mine goes to 'Stoga and when we were both there for SAT's, neither of our phones worked. We both have T-Mobile so it was obvious, it was the service not the phones since practially everyone else's phones worked.

Any T-Mobile phone does not work at all in Radnor High School. I think about every other carrier (I've seen Verizon, Cingular, ATT, Nextel) works except T-Mobile. I have just switched to Cingular and it works like a charm! 5 bars... always!

From here (half way between Mansfield and Wellsboro throug Wellsboro and West on US Route 6 there is no Verizon service. ATT works here and throughout Wellsboro. We have also heard that Nextel is moving into the area... but when?

From here south to almost Trout Run (Rt. 14) 20 miles there is no Verizon service. Always promises but nothing yet. There is an ATT or comparable available but not on the B side.

T-Mobile is terrible out here. Basically no coverage or very limited!

Virgin Mobile / Sprint barely gets any service in Exton, PA. And little to no service in Downingtown, PA.

My new T-Mobile cell phone had absolutely no reception at all within my apartment. Reception was OK (1 bar) when driving down Bull Frog Valley Road heading towards my apartment, but started to degrade as I drove up the hill in Alpine Heights. Apparently, the hills are blocking T-Mobile's reception.
