PA 44 From Antes Fort To Lycoming / Union Co Line, Jersey Shore, PA 17740
Fri Jun 20, 2008
For most carriers, there is no coverage along PA 44 from just south of Antes Fort to the Lycoming / Union County Line. Other main routes with dead spots in this region is PA 880 from PA 44 south to Carroll and PA 654 from PA 44 east to just east of Nisbet.
T-Mobile has almost no service in Normalville. There are some areas I get about 1 bar, but that only lasts for about 5 seconds. They need to build a Cell Tower in Normalville, I know so many people that want T-Mobile that live in Normalville but can't get it and are stuck with Verizon to At&t
Bingamand Rd. / Angora Rd. intersection, Reading, PA 19606

between angora fruit farm and antietam lake I get zero bars... . I have been with Verizon for 10 years now and moved here without checking signal strength. AT&T gets 4 bars here. other than that Verizon has been good for me but I have to switch as I need it to work at the house
Absolutely no reception on Kennedy Road. There is very spotty reception travelling north on 167 towards New York state. I go to school in Philadelphia but live in Brackney, PA and it is more than just an inconvenience (socially and financially) to travel back and forth with such horrific service in between. I have had car problems in the area and have been hard-pressed to try and find an available home to borrow a land-line phone to call for help. Yes, it is a rural area, but that simply means that we have DIFFERENT needs than a more developed community. This does not mean that our needs are unimportant or unnecessary.
