awfull reception through all of west greenwich

T-mobile has the worse reception of any carrier. I have very little to no reception near my home in western Cranston and very spotty coverage on 95 south of Warwick. Do not waste your money on T-Mobile.

Nextel has the worst reception and is the most expensive service in this area. I have also used T-Mobile and Sprint, both are almost as pathetic. I use Cingular now with a Motorola v551j and I couldn't be happier, I think I have had 1 dropped call in 5 mos. And best of all I get FULL signal at home, something that all the other providers failed to provide. Granted, Sprint has come a long way in the years since I have used them, but then again they are paired with NEXTEL now so I would still avoid them. I have not tried VERIZON because the phones they offer suck or they are expensive, Cingular gives you a great phone for free!

Please, please, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Do Not BUY NEXTEL / Sprint SERVICE! I have no reception and called to tell them how terribe it was, they told me that I should read my contract, and service is not always guarenteed. I was pissed, so I hung up and called back. Someone by the name of Patrick, was chewing in my ear, and told me that it did not matter if I was not getting service and that I had to pay my bill anyway, I sked to have a copy of my phone calls sent to me and he said, "You better get a lawyer for that." I then hung up on him and a manager later called and told me that, "Nextel does not have to provide consistent service all the time". DON'T DO IT!

Awful service here, frustrating because other carriers do have service. No service for 2-3 miles circumference around North Smithfield High School.

never fails I drop calls on 295 between exits 6-7. not to mention in my house reception is spotty. I pretty much stay off the phone my whole way home I never know if i'm going to keep service or not... hoping things will get better when the merge with Sprint happens..

My Service was purchased from ATT almost exactly three years ago because the Cingular service I had at the time was dead at my location. (Just North of Division St. off Post Rd). ATT worked great until yesterday - No Service - I have to walk 1 / 2 mile in any direction to get decent reception just like I did in the old Cingular days. Customer Service claims that there has not been any changes in tower status in this area. Hmmm.

After your call is dropped on Rt4, and again on 95N Warwick (but today I saw a new tower going up at 95 / 4!) then 295N has SEVERAL absolute dead spots, especially between Rt15 Plainfield Pk all the way to Rt44 dont bother calling, it will drop.

Get no reception driving anywhere near Hopkins Hill Rd.in Coventry. Drops my calls every single time I take the exit and never sends my text messages through. I can't hear ya now!
