Horry County / East of I95 intersection, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575 Fri Dec 30, 2011

I just spent three days in Myrtle Beach(12 / 26-12 / 28)I received a call on 12 / 26 as I was existing off I95 and the reception was perfect. However, I did not receive a call or text, or able to place a call or text until 1 / 2 mile from I95 - 3 days later on 12 / 28! Went to Verizon while in Horry County and they said my phone was dead. Asked then why I am still receiving e-mails? Solution was to buy a new Blackberry for $250.00 because "sometimes this is how phones die." Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I have great reception every where except in my house and neighborhood. But if I put my phone under a pillow it be gets full bars! If only I had xray vision I could send a text. I haven't received a phone call or text in 3 days. I should have known better Sprint always has bad service. As soon as I get on the main street my phone gets service... .useless.

Often, I have no bars or (worse yet) a nil sign even when standing outside my home. I also occasionally receive a message that I am not registered on a network. T-Mobile representative stated that their map shows coverage in my area... too bad I can't use their map to make a phone call.

I went with AT&T when it was cingular, Reception at most everywhere except Hwy. 49 toward Lockhart. I could Use any brand phone but used Motorola. About 2 yrs ago AT&T took over and its been down hill ever since. I have spent the past yr or more on phone with techs. They run all types of checks, or so they say. Undoubtly they have reduced the power of their towers and my service keeps getting less and less. I am not the only customer having this problem. If I do connect once in a while, the call is dropped. I felt AT&T could give customers the best service, but they aren't doing it now. My Service is AWFUL (everywhere) Hope AT&T can see the commensts and get on the problem. I am thinking of giving AT&T the same service I am getting (drop, drop, drop)

We have not had any ATT&T cellular service this evening. 10 / 4 / 2011. It has never been strong in this area - and definitely weak inside our home - but today we have "No Service." It's not our phones - my works fine on my Wi-Fi.

I second the fact that Kiawah is a high end resort and there is little to no coverage whatsoever from AT&T.
