No service in Belle Hall confirmed. Took 4 days to get old phone back and working again due to incompetent AT&T employees. "More bars in more places" --what a joke. I've gone back to Suncom (now T-Mobile), where there's great coverage EVERYWHERE in Charleston County.

Don't get reception period, changed to Verizon, No signal with them either!

Just moved in and cannot get signal in my house or EVEN IN MY FRONT YARD I can only qet 1 bar if I am lucky! ATT techs cannot stay on long enough to find the problem. I do not have a land line (and do not want one) If I call support from elsewhere in town the reception os OK so they don't see the problem. I think Belle Hall is a Dead zone and I may cancell ATT since they breached the contract by not providing adequate service.

Not a good place to have AT&T. No signal after the overpass and iffy when past the Bloom supermarket

According to Sprint Techs and my phone, this is a dead (or poor reception) zone although the Sprint site says good coverage and the tower is only 2.5 miles away.

We don't get enough reception to prevent dropped calls until we get almost to Summerville or Moncks Corner. We don't get any reception at all near or at our residence.

Calls often drop around Southside and McDonald's. You can get maybe one bar if you are lucky. I have perfect coverage everywhere else in Greenville, just not around here and it's where I work!

my home is located in a rural area of south bamberg, sc. my reception is terrible. there is a tower within 2 miles of my home but it apparently is not verizon. I've had Verizon for more than 5 years. I would change carriers but I find Verizon to be good while traveling and at my out of town work place (I live away from bamberg for work). I also have a pc card but cannot use the internet while at the bamberg location. I really need better. I would do away with my landline if my wireless service was better.

Just moved to the area and cant get service at my house with Sprint. When I adjusted my phone to automatic roaming (as directed by Sprint) it constantly roamed and ate up the battery in about an hour. Had to charge my phone 4 times in one day. My father in law and brother in law both have Verison and both of their phones work at my house so I am switching to Verison.

Was told Verizon shut down their analog tower(s) in this area - suspect in anticipation of the Feb 2009 date where all broadcast signals have to be digital.
