Just moved to the area and cant get service at my house with Sprint. When I adjusted my phone to automatic roaming (as directed by Sprint) it constantly roamed and ate up the battery in about an hour. Had to charge my phone 4 times in one day. My father in law and brother in law both have Verison and both of their phones work at my house so I am switching to Verison.

Was told Verizon shut down their analog tower(s) in this area - suspect in anticipation of the Feb 2009 date where all broadcast signals have to be digital.

No reception between the 2 roads above, however 1 / 2 mile beyond, in either direction, reception improves, and 1 mile beyond, I can get 4 bars.

This is just a dead spot for some reason. Contacted Alltel; they gave a few options to try to reset the phones, but it still doesn't work.

Reception is O.K. on US 1 south until you reach about 1.5 miles from the intersection of US 1 and US 52. Once you go over the hill past McMillen road on US 1 reception is zero. This is only about 3 miles from the Cheraw city limits.

3.5 miles away from exit 77, I-77, going toward Lancaster (Hwy 5 exit) - service lost. Happens every time. Dead zone.

There is a tower 1 mile from here, in Pierce Acres on Pineview Drive, with agreements with Nextel, Verizon, and Suncom. Still no Verizon service at my house and others nearby.

No reception. Well traveled road.

no reception at Carolina Willows apartments and no reception at International Dr.- OBMS school. Also, no reception at CFHS school.

In my dorm room at Winthrop University I am able to get no reception what so ever and would like to know what to do about it
