Lake Wateree area, had great reception with Alltel. Had great reception with Verizon until about a month ago. After a very long time (on my land line) talking with a Verizon tech, finally was told they no longer lease the tower I had been using. Would not comment on plans to reactivate the lease, etc. I hope to find the company that has the tower nearest me. Was thinking of switching from Verizon anyway because of other issues, today's conversation with tech rep made up my mind for me. I did not ask to be on Verizon--their reputation is so bad re billing issues--would not have gone with them by choice.

Trouble started in first week of May, 2010. Before thar time I had very good service. AT&T tech help seems unable to fix problem or explain it.

rented a new place and ill be damned if theres no service at all in parksville ! I have a bussiness and a 4 year old son very important to be able to call someone or receive calls ! just got the service in feb. so what now !

No reception in town or surrounding area. Occasionally, I can get a text message out but the chance of actually making a phone call is zero.

There is absolutely no service in this area. This area needs some close attention by wireless companies.

No Service with AT&T where I live. Possibly a glimpse of a bar if I step outside or sit in the right position inside my home. AT&T knows it a dead zone but nothing has been done. IF IPhone was with another provider, I would definitely make the jump.

I dont understand how they say thier the best but they are not. I have no service Ehrhardt, this is a waste of me an my mother's money. AT&T really need to step up their game an put a Tower in Ehrhardt, S.C.

We had AT&T for years and had very little trouble in cities like Albuquerque, San Antonio, Huntsville but Mount Pleasant is a mess. I tried talking to AT&T and they showed no interest in fixing the problem. One of the rep told me to buy a micro wave antenna. I asked her if I need to buy a satellite with it too :). I am inclined to drop AT&T. They don't care so why should I. I am planning to buy a service from Cricket or TMobile this time. If you are in the market to buy a service please do not consider AT&T... they have become a monster. They want you to pay $220 even if they fail to provide signal.

Just changed from Verizon to AT&T, because Verizon did me wront. But now that I have no service near son's house with AT&T, not sure where to go. Also AT&T used "bait and switch tactics". Made false promises that did not exist once I signed up.
