I was getting a little reception but now I can"t get anymore. When I pull into my drive it may appear that I have good reception, but by the time I dial the number the bars hAVE DISAPPEARED. Result, DROPPED CALL! I can't wait til my contract is up. I'm getting out of DODGE.
I live a few minutes away from the store in Mt. Pleasant and I can't get service at all. Sitting in my house I have no service. Half the time my calls go directly to the voice mail box. I have been in but they do nothing.
Cingular is the worst phone company I've been with. There is no reception in the barracks, inside or out, and just to use my phone I have to go to the PX. The Razr is by far the worst but most expensive phone I've ever had. I thought it was supposed to be one of the best. I drop all my calls, even when I'm out in town, and the battery has a life of maybe two-thirds of the day.
We have yet to find a carrier that has reception here. We were told by Alltel last month (when trying to switch because of the no reception), that a tower would be built in Ehrhardt in the next few months. We were trying to switch to Verizon because some people have had Verizon work here.
I have no reception after I take the turn off at 162 and 17. They have told me that they plan on putting up additional towers up our way- I've been hearing that for 3 years. Plan on switching to Suncom. Friends that have that phone get reception at my house.
No Alltel service in Rutherford County, NC... As soon as you enter into NC on route 221-A, there will be no Alltel Service. Depending on your plan, A solid R may appear on the phone (you are using US Cellular on SID 246) or a blinking R may appear(using Verizon on SID 139 or Sprint on SID 4376). However Alltel service gets better as you head back into Cherokee County, SC.
I get no reception halfway between Bishopville and Bethune.Verizon's coverage map shows coverage and upon calling them, they say its my phone. This is the fourth phone to do this, which rules that out.Cingular coverage is great. This area just needs a tower!
