Absolutely Horrible. Cingular was bad, AT&T is worse. Fewest dropped calls because calls never get completed. I have to go outside and stand in a particular spot to get reception.
Battle Creek (Old Hwy. 41) at the Foot of Monteagl, South Pittsburg, TN 37380

T-Mobile has great customer service, but unfortunately, they do not bother to tell you where their towers are, or if you have coverage where you live. They would not let me out of my contract, even though my phone went into emergency mode, and would not let me make any calls. The service rep talked me into ordering a new phone, even though the one I was using was less than a year old. It didn't help, so finally, after throwing a fit, they allowed me to cancel my contract and give me credit for the phone, but would not even send me a UPS label to send it back with, and would not accept it back any other way. I would recommend T-Mobile ONLY if you live near a tower.
Paint Rock Community / Hwy. 72 / 322 intersection, Philadelphia, TN 37846

WE are in the Devil's Triangle of cell phone usage. Living in the Paint Rock Community we must travel approx.13-15 miles or more to make a call. The Mushroom Plant on 72. Golf Course in Kingston and the Interstate 62. An Emergency? FORGETTABOUTIT! Somethings gotta give. Does anyone know which company owns which towers and their locations in Roane County? Who to contact if you would lease land to cell company>
Singular is excellent when traveling..At home I have very little to no reception (0 to 1 bar)... Must use hushand's T-Mobile to make and receive calls(At home)... He has excellent (4 to 5 bars)... Most calls are missed!
Avens Lane - Building Site / Flats Rd. intersection, Tallassee, TN 37878

Verizon service at 2500 ft elevation on Flats Rd and Avens Lane below the Foothills Pkwy. (Tallassee, TN) is NON-EXISTENT. There are big Verizon towers in nearby Maryville but the weak signal results in all failed calls, in and out. I also have to use a Wilson Electronics mobil ampliphier and magnet mount antenna in increase my signal on all major interstates and roads in the Townsend, Maryville, Knoxville area and beyond. Verizon service in East TN is very poor even though they assured me that they had excellent coverage here. Blah!
Joelton To Nashville / I-24 intersection, Joelton, TN 37080

I drive I-24 to work every day. From I-24, Exit 35 in Joelton to Briley Parkway, Cingular drops me 3 times. Once it drops you (with no bars), then, it gives you full bars (of course, after you've lost your call). That is all interstate (with several towers around)and it's very aggrevating! I might expect that out on state route roads, way out of town, but not on a major interstate in a large city.
