Works when the wind blows right. Just enough to get your text messages. or just enough for your phone to ring then pick it up and answer just to hang up on the caller. we need another tower out here then T-Mobile would be great. Our contract is up and we are trying to figure out what service to go with Verizon seems to work out here.
My boyfriend and I just paid to "upgrade" our phones with Cingular and we get no service in our apartment. Cingular drops our calls almost daily. We are getting a new phone service this weekend.

Cingular has the worst service, can not get any reception, calls constantly drop. The kept tellin you the service is great in the area, and you need to upgrade the phone and this is my third GSM phone and I still have the same problem. Sprint can get reception in the same area.
Moved into new house. Looked like it had coverage on Verizons map. Sometimes, if I walk to the end of my driveway and spin around I get a bar and can call out for around thirty seconds before getting dropped. Can recieve calls, but not hear anything people are saying. Had rough time getting my land line hooked up in country. Very frustrating to have to drive for miles to make or recieve calls.
This is very frustrating. No reception and calls cannot be made or received. We need a tower but no one seems to be concerned about this area of Charlotte, Vanleer, and Cumberland Furnace. Merrill Pegg resident
I have signed a 2 year contract that I wish I had not. I see people with Cingular get to use their cells we have to drive up to the tower to get any thing.
Strange service, if on phone on way to my home can talk all way, if at home and leave no service till hit Hwy. 100. Have NO servixce with in or outside my house. Yet there is a tower not 2 miles from home. Another dead spot, going toward Nashville just past Hester Beasley Road, for 1 mile.

9 out of 10 times I do cannot get a signal from my house. The one out of 10 times I do get a signal, it is dropped within a couple of minutes. Even if I go outside, I still cannot get a signal. Once I get a few miles down Hwy. 100, going east towards Nashville, I can then get a signal. I do not recommend Verizon to anyone who lives in Fairview. My contract is up Jan. 09, 2006, and I am counting the days to switch to another carrier.
