ATT reception is non existent. Multiple phone calls to complain have done no good. Reception is lousy and service is worse. Altel works better, but must stay with ATT for other reasons.
I do ok in town and out to huntington or al the way down 59. I live out on 58 and after about two or three miles out there I get nothing. Nothing Nothing. Same thing out 103 East towards lake nothing.
We've never gotten good reception at our home, but it's gotten worse. Now when the phone rings (if we're able to receive incoming calls, which is not consistent) we have to run outside to answer. Consistently drop calls in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
Have been told for years that more towers would built; try this new phone; try the new 3G network, and two dozen other lies. Just got the final word from AT&T. After ten years they finally came clean and told us there were no plans for additional towers, and yes, we have no reception, in the house or our yard or street... .but they did have a way to solve the problem. We are supposed to go buy bag phones. Duh! Asked them if they would carry a bag phone, and of course no. We are suburb of Ft. Worth, TX. I would think AT&T could provide better service.
