Reception is only available for 5 miles outside of town. This applies to Verizon and Cingular as well ( I just switched from Verizon and other family members are currently with Cingular.) Sprint only recently began working in town, but as of December 25 2006, it is NOT a digital signal. EVDO is non-existent in this area of Texas. Come on guys... .get this area up to speed and quickly.

I have been unable to get Sprint reception in or around Casa Linda Shopping Center for the past 3 years. I have called Sprint repeatedly without any resolution, follow-up, or explanation offered. This location is the highest point in the immediate vicinity, across the street from an 8-story hospital covered in satellite dishes and antennae. Sprint says they have numerous cells in the area. I've been asking others who do get reception who their carrier is (T-Mobile, Cingular) so that I can change providers and be more assured of getting a signal so close to home.

My Verizon connectivity and all other members of the club ahe basically no reception (no Bars) while on site. There are many of us who would like to see this remedied. It may be that the nearest cell site needs to have it's anttenae repointed?

Sprint would be acceptable if the service reached all the way to my house. As it stands, it is just 1 / 2 mile shy of reaching. If I don't power off my cell when I reach home, the phone will drain the battery in just 2 - 3 hours trying to acquire a signal. For me, dropped calls occur maybe twice a week: I don't know why, but the bars will disappear even in a known strong-signal area.
