As with the other 6 / 19 / 06 post we had no problems until several days ago-called customer service and told them we went from 3 to o bars. Sent us to a Cingular store to have both phones checked and software upgraded--no change--person at the store said Cingular and ATT have started combining towers and it is messing with the signal strength.

Absolutely horrendous. I can be talking to someone while laying down, not moving at all, and reception goes from fine to nothing. I drop every call I make from my apartment, IF i'm allowed to make the call to begin with (half of the time I can't even connect). I live five minutes from downtown, and this is totally unacceptable. While typing this I received a call that was dropped within the first twenty seconds. I answered the phone, someone speaks for a little, and then nothing! While I lived in Los Angeles Cingular was great, but ever since they merged with AT&T it's been a nightmare. I'm cancelling my service tomorrow and will find another, ANY other service.

My calls always get dropped, people can't even get my voicemail to pick up, I always get network busy messages, when my car broke down 2 weeks ago I had to walk 2 miles to get reception, then some weirdo was trying to pick me up and following me and it told me it was invalid to dial 911. I had to call a friend to call the police for me! I call Sprint constantly and they keep doing "updates". The biggest pain is that I have NEVER gotten a bill, and when I called because they turned my service off they told me it was my responsibility to know when to pay my bills on time, not theirs to send me a bill. Then they told me if I switched to e-mail (paperless) billing they'd take $5 off my current bill, so guess what... yup, still no bill.

Biggest mistake I have made was switching from Cingular to T-Mobile. No coverage at home unless I stand out front by the street. Live near O.P.Schnabel Park where there is a cell tower. Bonus minutes are great but what about the service I am paying for. Come on T-Mobile get with the program!

I never get any reception anywhere. This is the worst possible cell phone plan you could get.

Two year contract with Cingular signed in McKinney. Were told we'd get service at Lake Fork. I had 4,000 rollover minutes which I lost at end of one year, so you can tell how much I used my phone. They won't even talk to me about relief on contract due to no service. I would never recommend Cingular because I think they are being dishonest with the public and I told them that. I've heard Peoples is the best cell phone company for this area and have been told that it could be used anywhere.

As was coming from I-10 to Barker Cypress, by Saum head to Greenhouse the call drop. I guess it must be the phone because friends and relations that have Cingular service with phone that have Antena does not have these drop call issues.

Ridiculous! I have no reception in Midland if I am close to Wadley (a major street). Three blocks from home and I have no reception. Thanks, Alltel

Loose service about 4 miles north of Longview. Service is terrible if you get more than 10 miles away from major city or interstate hwy.
