I got Sprint with nationwide roaming and my roaming works a percent better than Sprint coverage. I sure hope Sprint pops up a tower in Yoakum cuz I'm tied with a two year commitment now.

Concho County Texas / US HWY 83 and FM 1929 E intersection, Paint Rock, TX 76866 Sat Aug 22, 2009

We have had excellent service with AT&T for 2 years. Now, about 2 weeks ago, almost no reception. Where we were able to ues my phone all over the school campus last year, now we have found 1 spot on campus where we can get 1 bar (2 if we're lucky). Everyone we have talked to that also has AT&T is having the same problem. AT&T said they share cell towers with T-Mobile. I was in the store where a T-Mobile person had service and I (AT&T) did not. If they share the towers, shouldn't we both have service? AT&T says we are in a "moderate" service area. If it is MODERATE and there is almost NO service, - what would they call good or fair or excellent service? As of my hustbands last conversation with AT&T, they pretty much said that is just how it is. (They have yet to explain why the WAS service and now there is not!)

I have to say, I barely get any reception at all! When I am instant messaging on my cell phone, there's points where it will say "Unable to send message" and it was a very long one! It makes me mad to retype it onto my phone, and phone calls, don't get me started on that! I have to go walk outside to the dead intersection to get a few bars that stick with me, otherwise, inside the house, in front of my home, in the front or backyard, it will automatically drop and be choppy, and I get yelled at by my mother for "hanging up" on her, when it's actually my call that dropped! I am so unpleased by cell phone service in Azle, if it was not a neccessity, I would not have it.

T-Mobile's coverage maps say I should get between good reception inside a building or possibly might need to be outdoors. I can't even get a signal within several miles of my home location. Thank goodness October is the end of my 2 year contract with them, I've gotten smarter since my initial contract-I've had friends with various providers come out to the house and try their reception. Both Sprint and AT&T work fine either inside or out at my location.

Outside Quitman, Quitman, TX 75783 Sat Aug 08, 2009

I moved to Quitman about a year ago. My phone is almost useless. I have a couple spots that I can have phone service or send / receive text messages, but can almost never get multimedia messages. I town it works pretty good, but I'm not usually in town so I'm thinking of switching to Alltel

T-Mobile doesn't work at my house in Champions Creek, which is all the way North on Champions Dr. where Champions Golf Course and Raveneaux Golf Course meet. I've called T-Mobile and they are aware of the issue, but have no immediate fix. I am probably going to switch to Cingular or Verizon based on the posts.
