Home on HP Road, no reception but in higher elevated orchard get 1 bar. Useless at home and most other places in this area. Once you get a good signal, pull off road immediately to talk.

I've been reporting this reception problem to Verizon for five years. The whole neighborhood is a dead zone. All Verizon can say is "Oh Well".

Sprint does not work in this area of Bastrop at all. When I signed up for the service they said that it would work fine. It doesn't I have to go out to the highway before I get a signal. I don't think anyone realy gets a signal out here. I guess it is because of the tall pine trees and all the hills.

Dropped calls all the time with vital business transactions; no more than 2 bars to none; very disappointed in Cingular. Co-workers have Sprint and T-Mobile have a lot better reception than me and I've tried several different phones / brands.

Verizon doesn't work in this area. I had to pay $175 to get out of my contract. I got a Cingular phone and it does 5 bars. I'm a happy camper. Thank you Cingular.

you get no reception in any of the school buildings whatsoever. You either have to go outside or buy a stupid phone card if you are staying in a dorm.

Cingular has dropped coverage in much of Waco, Texas for former AT&T Wireless customers in a bid to force them to upgrade to Cingular service plans, though the phone still works in areas not widely serviced by AT&T wireless.
