In my house I can walk from room to room and see bars go from 0 to 1. Occasionally I will suddenly see 5 bars, but immediately all disappear and I have 0 again. It's almost impossible to make a call from my house without the call dropping. Reception barely improves outside with more than half calls being dropped. Only when I'm several blocks away can I make reliable calls. Sprint service is very VERY poor in this area. For your own sanity investigate other providers before making your purchase decision if you live in this area.

I am so frustrated, because 9 times out of 10 I cannot dial out on my phone when calling from home. When driving in Austin it's spotty just about everywhere. But where I need it most is at home and the service is so lousy and all I get is a recording saying my call cannot be connected at this time. Well what am I going to do if there's an emergency?! I pay lots of money to Cingular each month and for what?! This is such a rip off and it sucks that I'm locked into a contract with them for a service that doesn't work.

My reception is dead until I get on Liberty Grove past the Daycare center at Chesa and Liberty Grove or at Dalrock and Princeton. T-Mobile tried to get a tower in but the city denied the request in the council meeting on 08-01-06.

No reception dead no bars with Cingular at my parents house or on the lake from the 155 bridge to the Villages. My brother has Verizon and he had full bars at my parents and on the lake.

here for a month. Not only is T-Mobile reception horrible, my phone won't even switch over to a roaming carrier like Cingular. Instead I get absolutely no network. T-Mobile customer service is pathetic. After following inane instructions by them, such as, "turn your phone off, then turn it back on." then, "take out the sim card then put it back in" the best they could do was say, "we're putting in a service request so that someone can look at the towers" because apparently, it's not my phone that has a bad reception or bad antennae, it's the tower's fault. Which is exactly why everyone else seems to have coverage except me with my phone.
