No reception inside my home even though Sprint assured me there would be. Now they tell me that "mobile" phones are for outside use, not inside use. They claim cell phones are not meant to be used inside buildings which is ridiculous. Sprint customer service is impossible to deal with. Other people in the area say the same about Sprint's reception no matter what type of phone they have.

Since Hurricane Ike reception has gone from Below Avg to Poor / No reception. But 4 months ago AT&T told me they would put in a repair order. So it should be fixed in the next couple of years or so.
I recently moved from Fort Worth to Mansfield. I had no problem with my phone in the FW area until I moved here. I can't receive or make calls as soon as I drive into Mansfield. My cellphone is basically useless in my own home. Texts messages won't send either. I would strongly advise against signing up for AT&T mobile service if you are moving to the area or thinking about switching providers. My parents both have Verizon and have no problem with their phones when they are in town.
Sprint data cards are turned off when you are very near the border. I got an engineer to admit that to me. The reason is Telmex complains when their service enters mexico as they are supposed to have exclusive coverage in Mexico. Sprint cancelled it with out any problem when I brought it up.
