My phone is useless on base. I can get off base, and see the phone log and get voicemail - and the phone never rings. Data speeds are typically Edge, not 3G - despite AT&T's pretty maps. Co-workers with Verizon have no issues at all. Pretty much all of Hill AFB is affected, yet AT&T apparently doesn't care. No problem. The moment Verizon gets the iPhone 4 / 5; this phone is going on EBay, the proceeds will be given to AT&T for early termination - and I'll switch. There is a reason why AT&T was rated the WORST cell phone provider in the USA by Consumer Reports - and AT&T earns that distinction each and every day.

The Cricket cell phone tower in Layton and surrounding cities are down as of 12 / 3 / 2010 4:00 pm. There are hundreds of people pouring into the Layton Cricket store asking why their cell phones are down. The store has no cell service, no Internet service, no phone service, and they can't report the problem or sell or activate new phones. Tech support won't answer the phone. When you call new order support all you get are stupid agents in the Philippines who can't do anything about it. I'm pretty sure you can get better cell phone and customer service in Haiti than you can from Cricket.

Heading South from this intersection there is an apparent shadow or issue with reception - always has been, doesn't matter the phone (haved had the same issue with 5+ phones over the past 5+ years.)

Purchasing a house and just discovered we don't get our calls, voicemails, texts or any evidence of missed calls until we go outside. How are we supposed to function in this modern society without cell service? We haven't had a landline for years. I am sick.

Wouldn't even work. I had to use a different phone just to call AT&T to switch back to my way old Nokia phone and it did pick up two bars, but you could barely use it, and would pray that your call wouldn't be dropped.

No Bars inside my house. drops on me everytime I make a call. Reception gets a tiny bit better if your outside but thats not saying much. Roomates have T-Mobile and they get good reception even in the basement!

no AT&T signal in area around park nor in Springdale

When I had Verizon, the reception in Brown's Canyon was fine. AT&T has no reception through Brown's Canyon or in Peoa.

T-Mobile never works. It is constantly saying 'emergency only' use and drops calls all over. I am in a major residential area and this should not happen! Paying $400 to get out of contract! DO NOT USE!
