Several in group of 14 had Verizon and could get no reception. several others had other services and no problem - loud and clear reception. What's with that??
Forget about using Verizon Wireless on a 70 mile stretch on US Hwy. 89 between Logan, UT and Montpelier, ID. Even if you get a bar now and again it is impossible to send / receive calls on Verizon Wireless.

For a well-known resort, you'd think that they would do something about the cell phone coverage - work with AT&T or something. I was on 'Emergency Service' the entire time I was staying there.
I have been highly disappointed by Cingular. I get more dropped calls than completed ones. I'm always on the phone with customer service for one prob or another. I've even tried three different phones in the past three months. And the customer service is also very poor. When I called to cancel my service a supervisor told me that since Cingular is the no 1 carrier in the US the problem with my phone not working must be me and not the service, and then he hung up. Today I switched to T-mobile, and the early termination fee that I'll have to pay Cingular will be very well spent!
