Btw Corinth and Montpelier coverage is fine from Montpelier until the top of the ridge east of Orange. Btw Corinth and White River coverage is fine from Bradford exit most of the way south. I hardly ever turn my phone on now unless I am actually traveling... i.e., weeks go by without using it. No sense in upgrading to new phones / devices.

People here and elsewhere claim that Unicel and Nokia are good, but I get no bars in my office with Unicel and a Nokia 6085h, whereas my officemate has no problems making calls with a cheapo Jitterbug service and phone. I think a lot has to do with what tower your service connects to.
Why is there no service available for cell phone in the whole state of Vt. Is there ever going to be.? I purchased one in La and it worked fine until I arrived in Vt, now it becomes a toy. Thank you so much AT&T. Leon
We have zero reception on either of our GSM phones. From checking provider coverage maps, it seems absolutely nobody provides cell service in this area, even the ones that focus on service to less populated areas. Barre and Montpelier are not that far off, but due to mountains the coverage is entirely blocked - you have to drive miles before getting any signal at all.
