Verizon doesn't work in Bennington at all. Ever since I moved out here from Chicago last summer, I get no signal at all. And customer service is a joke, all they ever say is dial *228 option 2. That does nothing at all. My Droid is a paper weight now. But yet Verizon coverage map says this a good coverage area, BS. Then the Verizon rep had the nerve to say I should "BUY" their network extender for $250. I would rather use that money to break out of my contract early and switch to US Cellular, which seems to have good service throughout this town.

most of the time I'm lucky if I get one bar-if its not too windy or there are no planes flying overhead. I have to drive about 5 miles to get reception. My home isn't in a remote area either (not surrounded by trees, mountains or even hills). Verizon offered me a "deal" on a tethering system which would give me the benefit of spending $50 just so I can continue to use their less than mediocre service. Of course they won't let me off their contract. I'm switching to a company that will buy out my contract so I can be done with them for good.

Haven't had any reception whatsoever since early afternoon. Does anyone know what's going on? Maybe the storm has affected AT&T cell towers?

Still waiting for the second Cabot tower (another silo) (Souza / Bolton) to come on line. This will address the West Danville,VT and Joes Pond area which still remains dark for most cell phones. The new tower seems to be all populated but still off-line

In the July 2007 I had great roaming reception at this location. Beginning in December 2009 and again in July 2010 there was no reception (roaming or otherwise) at this location.

I get so frustrated with the service, everyone else I know has no problem in the Brattleboro High School area, however, I have no bars / service etc.I don't really know of anyone else with AT&T, they all have other carriers that work. Just waiting for either a tower or my contract to run out, whatever comes first. Does anyone no if a tower is in the works? I keep being told to hold out, well 2 years of holding out and I think I am done.

According to AT&T's map this is a prime coverage area. Instead it is difficult to get any signal, even in the middle of the village.

No reception anywhere, even in the largest city int he state. This has been ongoing for 1-2 months

I get no reception until I get into St. Johnsbury- even there it's intermitting. Horrible service in this area. Would not recommend. Other people I know have AT&T and it works great!

It really does suck in Bethel, Vermont. You get NO reception at all! 0 bars everywhere in this town!
