No reception anywhere in Barnard except for the top of Tower road. Can one of the major carriers (Unicel) install a booster on one of their towers to solve this problem? In addition, there is no cable, DSL or any high speedinternet service other than SAT, which is barely faster than dial-up and costs 10 times as much forservice. If a cellular / mobile signal was available, we would also be able to access high speed internet.

Btw Corinth and Montpelier coverage is fine from Montpelier until the top of the ridge east of Orange. Btw Corinth and White River coverage is fine from Bradford exit most of the way south. I hardly ever turn my phone on now unless I am actually traveling... i.e., weeks go by without using it. No sense in upgrading to new phones / devices.
1 bar at all times, will dial calls but not reach the person five feet away from me. A minute in the car east and I have five bars and perfect reception, what gives?

No service any where in the village. You can get some service (on a clear day) if you drive to the top of some hills. I understand Nextel and Unicel are the only carriers that work in the village.
Please note, there is NO reception from Noah Wood Rd.to the Post Office in South Woodstock, possibly even further. I can't comment on any other carriers.
absolutely no reception (not even roam) from any part of the Topsham / E.Corinth area. I don't know if anybody who has reception in this area. I would be willing to have any carrier put a tower on my property!
We have zero reception on either of our GSM phones. From checking provider coverage maps, it seems absolutely nobody provides cell service in this area, even the ones that focus on service to less populated areas. Barre and Montpelier are not that far off, but due to mountains the coverage is entirely blocked - you have to drive miles before getting any signal at all.
