T-moblie is the worst, can't get it in the home. Outside is questionable, have to stand on deck holding phone to the west and wait to see if a bar appears. Tmoblie is the worst and their customer service is... . no customer service. Once they have you, your stuck... ..Do Not Recommend. I have done away with in home service and have a total of 4 cells, to cancel you are stuck with a 800.00 bill. The service is so bad, it is almost worth sucking it up and going to another carrier. After calling and complaining for the last 4 months, they just don't care... ..they have you. Tmoblie should be ashamed,... ..they are just minimum wage morons that will never become anymore than what they are today... .morons... .

Alltel - either NO SERVICE or 1 antenna bar at best, with terrible reception and dropped calls. Our friends with Verizon came to visit, and they all had complete antenna bars on their phones. 10 / 30 / 07.

Third World Countries have better reception than Patrick County, Virginia. Patrick County still lacks cell phone coverage and Internet access. County Commissioners are taking funds from the Tobacco Commission for self-gain and taking bribes from Embarq.
Ridiculous that ATT disappears south of Farmville for 20+ miles. Recently they appear to have added service in Keysville but it doesn't last long. It makes NO SENSE to be on a major corridor through VA and have No service for 20-40 miles. ATT needs to expand to bring in rural coverage. Their coverage map of VA is pathetic. Fortunately my other Verizon phone works in the area.

My mother bought me this phone as a present and there is NO reception in Keysville, Abilene, or my area until about 8 miles away near Hampden-Sydney. I looked at coverage maps on Virgin's site (service provided by Sprint PCS, btw) and they don't even pretend to cover this area.
Unbelievable - after 5 years of camping at Natural Bridge station, we AT&T Wireless turned Cingular Wirelless turned AT&T Wireless (again) customers STILL do not have any reception at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park⢠at Natural Bridge... but our Verizon friends have 3-5 bars of signal at the same location during that whole 5 years. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with a very nice AT&T rep, I was able to log a complaint. But I need enough people to do the same thing before AT&T realizes they need to lease service fromthe tower that serves that area!
Cingluar / AT&T doesn't work south of the Food Lion on Avon St. Extended (or the Monticello visitor center on Rte 20). By the time you get to Scottsville, you've been out of Cingular / AT&T's network for a good half hour.

I just moved into a townhouse on Westmore Dr.in Springfield. I get absolutely no reception in my house. I've called Cingular twice and they haven't returned my calls. My neighbor just moved in and he doesn't get reception either. When the COX cable guy came out, he couldn't get a signal on his cell phone to call COX and tell them to initialize my service. I think it has something to do with the big traffic alert sign that is on the right as you pass Westmore and head to the mixing bowl... I think it jams the signals.
