Can't get Verizon to address the problem. Even offered them my property for cell tower

No bars - very poor at best if you stand outside on the picnic table. Small price to pay for living in a mountain paradise. I would love to ditch the land line but... .

at times may indicate one bar of reception, but you'll be lucky if you can actually place the call. if you do, then it breaks up or drops the call altogether.

AT&T is crap. I can't wait till february to switch. More bars in more places my butt! The comercials they are putting out lately about so and so not getting any bars and missing out on something,HAHA. they are the biggest culprits of this. No one I know with this service is happy and we will all be leaving!

Verizon Wireless: Lived in two sides of apartment building: High floor facing east = no bars. High floor facing west = 3-5 bars. Is there no cell phone tower east of Nelson St. (towards DC) in Arlington?

I get no reception at all in any number of locations. The folks at AT&T hav been attentive, but nothing ever gets resolved. They look at their maps and assure me I should be getting the calls I never get. They say things will improve sometime in 2009, but in the meantime I'm virtually without a cell phone.

sucks a lot I need them to make a towr near here or another phone that gets Verizon service here at ft. story... .hooah

I didn't expect reception here on Looney's Creek, but I've checked the phone at several places between here and Vansant and I haven't gotten any reception at all. I'm very glad I chose the plan that didn't require a 2-year contract, but I wish I'd sent the phone back within the trial period. At least I can use it on longer trips.

AT&T sucks! they are terrible and they will rip you off! They have the highest charges of all the carriers and their customer service is never available. Do not use AT&T
