Don't get any reception in my house. Can sometimes go on the second floor and talk but get alot of dropped calls. Outside seems better but still not reliable. Can get reliable coverage all down Old Church Rd.an into Christian Ridge. Just seems to loose it as soon as I pull in the yard.

Rumor has it that The Tower in Pound, Va is only operating at 25%. If you get about a mile away from the tower we have no reception.

There is no signal on Beaverdam RD (Rt 715) and that area. The American Legion at 17662 Beaverdam RD has an open offer for a cell tower. This is a win win situation. The community gets cell service. The Legion post gets royalties. The cell Co. gets a tax deduction for contributing to a nonprofit organization.

i hate the fact AT&T cant cover all of virginia I spend lots of time visiting family in sw va and its bullcrap that I have to drive an hour just to get reception.

The reception drops all the way up Harding, and then disappears as you leave the city limits. No service at all down the Catawba Road.

No bars, calls fail or dropped all the time. My wife called me one day and when my phone beeped to let me know she had called. I called her back, and she told me she had made that call to me an hour before I called her back. I looked at the AT&T web site, put in our address and it came up that we have no signal for our area. Guess I will be looking for another carrier <><

DO NOT. I repeat, DO NOT get Verizon Wireless if you live in, or around, Burke Centre. You will drop almost all of your calls - if you are able to make them in the first place. I can't even send a text message from my phone on most days from my house. I hope it is not Burke Centre Conservancy that is preventing towers from the area.

Alltel was horrible in my area. tried to use Alltel as an alternative to my home phone with no luck. Also no coverage on 460 W going into Bedford
