I just purchased two Iphones for my business and signed up for AT&T service. They work well over in TN but after I got home in Coeburn VA I have no service. I thought it would at least roam. I understand AT&T is purchasing the Verizon towers. I'm the media director for the County of Wise Virgina and need good data service and cell service. I also have an altel blackberry that I don't like at all. I would like to use the IPHONES very much as I am use to using MAC's in the TV station at the courthouse. Zero reception inside the house, it is pretty bad. If I go outside to the yard I may get some, but even if I am lucky to get a call out it takes a minute and the call drops. My friends have Alltel / Verizon and don't have the same problem.

Signal strenth is zero on the 4th floor of my apartment. Reception was also zero in my previous apartmetn in fairfax county... ... Goodbye ATT,,,Hello verizon
Simply terrible services from Sprint in the Mountain Falls Area. Verizon barely works, and the rest fall into the same slot as sprint. They just suck !

As of 7 / 4 / 09 no AT&T service in nearly all of Brunswick Co. Alltel which has to be sold by Verizon to meet FCC / FTC rules is rumored to have sold to AT&T. Does anyone know if true or not?
