Nokia 6160
Farm Credit Dr. / Lewinsville intersection, Mc Lean, VA 22102 Thu Mar 30, 2006

This is a TDMA phone - called #77 (non-emergency police) with no problem to report an accident. Tried calling work to say I would be late, got fast busy. It appears Cingular / ATT is quietly phasing out TDMA service (makes sense to phase it out, kinda bogus not to inform cusotmers of that).

Palm Treo 700w

Calls deteriorate as you head north on Seneca Rd. toward the Potomac, and always drop at some point - usually back back toward Beach Mill. I live at the north end of Seneca, and either have to end my calls before getting on Seneca (on my way home), or wait until I'm off (if I'm on my way out).

Owensville Rd. / Decca Ln intersection, Charlottesville, VA 22901 Mon Feb 13, 2006

I had US Cellular and a usable, if weak signal. I changed to Sprint and had no signal. Even 400 yards off I-64 on Dick Woods Rd heading towards Ivy I get no Sprint signal.
