At home, no reception. On the road, some. On 460, perfect. One hill makes all the difference.

Have had T-Mobile since Oct 2004 but could not get any reception at home at Great Falls Chase and Algonkian parkway. Also it dropped very frequently on Wheele. Looking for a new service for these areas...

AT&T / Cingular are still selling plans nationwide to people and telling them they get reception in rural areas. I bought my Phone in Las vegas, and moved to Rural Virginia. They assured me that I would get reception in the ZIP code 23976 so long as I had the nationwide plan. Then signed me to a two Yr contract. This is far from the truth. I have reception towards Farmville about 4 miles out of Keyesville to the North. And to the South, just outside of Clarksville. Heading East I start to get reception aproaching Hwy. 58, but very weak. Going West Brookneal! Do not waste your money on Cingular! After they rope you in, they will not negotiate your release!

Occasionally 1 or 2 bars - a new tower was supposed to have gone on line at Burgess, VA 9 / 05 but Verizon CS now shows no scheduled installations. Is there any place I can get new tower schedule plans?

No coverage worth mentioning in this county (Rappahannock) although six towers were put up last year. Verizon cant be bothered to put service in county although they sell contract without hesitation.

Rolling Road / Fairfax County Pkwy., Springfield, VA 22152 Thu Sep 29, 2005

I live right off of Rolling and the Fairfax County Pkwy. and I have no service inside my house. Outside, I can occassionally get enough service for the phone to ring, but not enough to answer. In such a heavily populated area, I would expect better service and for a company to do something about this.
