My old AT&T phone worked if I stood in the street, and my wife's phone almost works in the house, but my new smart phone gets no reception, unless I'm at the trading post. I haven't seen any carrier work reliably at my house.

This is ridiculous! The AT&T coverage map says this area has the best coverage. No matter where I am on base there are ZERO bars or one on a good day. I can't believe I actually have to go out to town in order to use my cell.

3 or 4 miles east of Duvall... forget it... your phone is a paper weight. I hear T-Mobile is good around here though.

Sometimes one bar, sometimes no service. Unable to send or receive calls at home. Incoming calls rarely ring, though will chirp if caller leaves voicemail. Mini-cell tower makes no difference. Years ago was slightly better, now I'm paying $80 month for... what?

233Rd and Redmond Ridge Dr.have very poor coverage. The signal is very frequently lost. It seems a coverage hole for all carriers. I never had a good reception with Verizon either. Both carriers coverage map it very good but the Mao is inaccurate. May need a microcell whichever carrier it is.

AT&T is horrible in Richland and outlying areas. I have had T-Mobile / Nextel and Verizon and they put AT&T in the dust in all respects - coverage and customer service. If it wasn't for the fact that AT&T was the only iPhone provider, I would drop it in a heartbeat. Droid and Verizon - I'll be back soon.

I have just moved up here to Ariel WA. I want to upgrade my phone with the new Samsung Captivate, but not sere if it would make a difference being I don't even have reception up here, sometimes if I go out side on the south side of the home "hot spot" I can call out. Is there a proposed tower coming in this aria, or should I just not spend my money, or maybe switch svc, being my contract is now past the 2 year point. AT&T has been good company, but what good is it if I cant make a call.

U. S. Hwy. 12 / Silver Creek Rd. intersection, Randle, WA 98377 Sun Aug 01, 2010

I go to this area quite frequently to visit family and I get absolutely no service once I get away from the freeway, 60 miles away. I bought this phone hoping to be able to retrieve my emails while visiting as my mom doesn't own a computer. No such luck, may move to Verizon as they have signals there.

AT&T says the area is covered that they a have a cell site close to my location, I am finding out Verizon may have been a better choice, stay away from AT&T, the iPhone has 1-bar, a cheap LG has 3-bars but my iPhone and Samsung SGH-A877 has major issues here. We are 8-miles north of Lyle

Inside my house, more frequently then not, I get no signal at all. Sporadically will pick up a bar or 2 of edge and 3G, only to find when I place a call it fails. Found that T-Mobile has the closest tower(antennas are actually up on the power companys tower) to my location, just about a mile or 2 due north on corner of 216th Ave SE and SE 288th St. Got a prepaid SIM card from them and put it into my iPhone 3G, and never got below 2 bars of edge. Couldn't test T-Mobiles 3G coverage since the iPhone doesn't support their 3G frequencies. Once my contact is up with AT&T I'm switching to T-Mobile!
