I have been talking with Verizon Wireless for about a month and have had no luck. I use my cell for business but also have the wireless broadband for my laptop. I'm paying $130 per month for both and have NO reception for make either useful. Verizon is not interested in resolving the issue except to change the phone... that does nothing for my wireless broadband! Yes... it's $175 per line to dump Verizon Wireless. What way to run a business!

no reception between here on pacific highway. On Sandridge I don't lose reception. Heard from a Cingular empl. they were going to put up a higher tower in Ocean Park, but the "naturalists" disagreed... afraid the birds would run in to it! Lose a few seagulls or crows?!?! Maybe strobe lights would help !

We were with Sprint and then changed to Cingular thinking we would be able to find a carrier that would provide us with service. We were mistaken as we still do not have any reception. NO Bars do we have at our home. Perhaps it is because we are behind the hill which has an airstrip higher than our home which could be blocking our signal. If we walk up the hill we can obtain a signal but that is not convenient. Would an antenna on top of the house help ?

No reception at our house near Westgate Chapel, at 100th and Edmonds Way, the old Edmonds-Woodway High School, and many other areas of Edmonds. My husband has Sprint and does have reception (although not 100% great) in all those areas. His Sprint phone is totally without reception at Top Foods (220th and 99th). Still, better than my Cingular. Really disappointed with Cingular!

The moment I walk up to my house I lose reception. Extremely spotty service, even though Verizon has a tower less than half a block away. Also have poor service in grocery stores or any other kind of building for that matter.

No reception inside or out at my home. Some service in center of town but not constant. Looking into switching providers but not sure if any will work in the area.

About 2 or 3 miles either side of McCleary, while travelling on SR 8, the coverage totally drops off. Sometimes I lose calls, sometimes I just can't hear. Terrible zone.

Gravelly Beach (near Black Lake Road) / Gravelly Beach Loop / Gravelly Beach Rd. intersection, Union, WA 98592 |

Even with external antennas having up to 10 dB of gain over the stub, there is almost no reception at our home. The dead zone continues for 3 miles west of us to the 101 and then all the way down to Black Lake and Cooper Point Roads. We realize that intallation of more towers is an expensive proposition, but our area is building fast and we are getting more and more neighbors every day - even though we live in the Olympic Forest. We have asked Verizon about their plans to improve service, but they are mum on the issue. Our local friends with Cingular seem to be quite satisfied with their connectivity in our same region. Our contract is up on the 10th of March. We will go again with Verison only because all of our family members in other states are on Verizon - not because of the Verizon service here. Can anyone tell me wht web site to go to to see where our local cell tower is located? Thanks
