Is it technically possible to have no reception on top of a hill? Why yes, yes it is!

I get no reception on West Curlew Lake Rd. so my phone is useless unless I drive at least 8 mi. from home. No signal with external antenna either. Please put more towers in this area as we have severe Winters and this road is one of the worst during Winter. A cell phone might save a life.

I get reception outside of house. We had new Pella windows put in entire house, even with the blinds open, I can not use my cell phone, I have to put an magnetic car antenne on outside of house / kitchen window, It is a PAIN having to be hooked up to a cord not being able to use phone mobile... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... They (Verizon) gave me 3 phones trying to get reception, nothing worked, they said windows couldnt cause problem... ... ... but they did, 3 years before cell phone worked in house with no trouble. If I need to use cell for computer technician, I will have to dangle antenna outside of window, (I havent tried this hope it will work)

There are a few spots I can get coverage, about a 3 block range. The signal apparently gets coverage from T-Mobile. Cingular states since I have a contact for service, even though I can not use my phone where I live, there is no service here, or in 95% of LaConner, that is besides the point, I am stuck. My contract ends in the near future, and I am leaving Cingular. I would not suggest them, or their (lack of) customer service.

Zero (1 bar at best) reception. Cell towers skirt the area, but coverage is horrible. A shiny new (and HUGE) cell tower went up in Novelty Hill Rd. a while back, but I don't think it's on yet. The city (or state?) built two new electric sub-stations on either side of the hill, with the power lines sharing the tower. The power lines are all installed now and the sub-stations are completed... why hasn't the cell tower been fired up yet?

I have had Nextel for two years and cannot wait to switch. I have had nothing but problems with all 5 of my phones. Would not recomend nextel-sprint at all. Customer service has also been poor always having tower problems that is out of their control. I have never had a phone that has had as many droped calls on main roads I-5, Hwy. 14, I-205. Stay away from nextel-sprint
