Verizon sucks. No rececption. Missed calls. Dropped calls. We couldn't stand it and got out.. they charged us for terminating the contract early. No wonder why they had the commercials "Can you hear me now?" - we constantly said that everytime we talked on the phone. Verizon sucks! Switched to T-mobile... .the reception is better but still poor.

I have been talking with Verizon Wireless for about a month and have had no luck. I use my cell for business but also have the wireless broadband for my laptop. I'm paying $130 per month for both and have NO reception for make either useful. Verizon is not interested in resolving the issue except to change the phone... that does nothing for my wireless broadband! Yes... it's $175 per line to dump Verizon Wireless. What way to run a business!

This phone has recieved superbly at this location for the past two years. This fall however, no change in bars but all calls in or out are gone the phone just tries in vain to redial. Thanks ATT / Cingular.

Have been with T-Mobile 4 yrs. The first 2 yrs we had between 1-2 bars. These past 2 years we rarely if ever get any bars. It's common to see neighbors walking in the street talking on their cell phones because most of us don't get reception here in Lake Forest Dark! A friend was visiting who had AT&T and she got perfect reception at our house.

Used to work great from same location. Verizon will not say what changed, but has declared this a permanent "problem area" with no plans to fix. ATT works great from same location. Get 0-1 bar 200 feet north of house.

Reception moves between 0 and 2 bars continuously so even if a call may come in on 2 it's lost before long. Verizon's remedy is to sell us yet another "better" phone (we've gone through three different phones already), and another "better" plan, resulting in a longer (and for Verizon "better") contract. Similar problems when traveling, but comparable with T-Mobile and Sprint in my experience. Verizon customer service is good, I'll give them that, but quality of reception is simply unacceptable in this area of Seattle and we're junking Verizon first chance we get.

I live in a community in burien called hurstwood. It is right by the water. There is great reception at the top of the hill... but as you wind your way down the hill to our community you watch the bars drop faster than tiger's credibility. I do not even have enough signal to get a repeater. Sucks!

Verizon has no real reception in the south end of Seattle. Any neighborhood near the airport doesn't get good coverage. It's funny because there is a Verizon billboard on the highway near where there is a no reception zone saying that Verizon has the best coverage in the NW. And I laugh as I look at my phone that has no coverage.
