So tired of doing without cell service just because I choose NOT to live right in town! Rural people deserve cell service too... .

We live in Coburn, WV and no cell phone service for about a 20 mile radius! To make matters worse, Frontier is the only land line service and we constantly have problems with them. It took 1 month to even get service, no we have been fighting with them for 3 months due to poor service (hum in the line, dropped calls, missed incoming calls). It makes it very difficult to make important phone calls to doctors when you have a sick child and very poor, if any, phone service. I pray we never have an emergency and need to call an ambulance, because we probably will not have a phone to call!

Was traveling from Pittsburgh to Morgantown for business. The moment I entered in Morgantown, I lost signal and my phone remained a brick until I got out of Morgantown after four days. I need to visit Morgantown for next 6 months on a weekly basis. Seriously considering to get a no contract prepaid phone to use while in Morgantown.

my phone gets signal in some odd places and I didnt have ANY signal in Williamson, Matewan, Red Jacket, or anywhere else. I drove to williamson from northeast PA and I lost signal an hour before I got there and didnt get it back till I was back north of williamson the next day. The funny part is that AT&T's coverage map reflects the most service on their coverage map, and 95% of you above who have AT&T also say it sucks. 1 Alltel user above loves their service and their coverage map says they HAVE NO service in the area. Verizon owners have all the luck but Verizon's coverage map HAS NO service in the area. One of the locals says the best cell coverage there is Appalachian Wireless, but how would I know whether other providers allow A.W. to use their towers so I'll have the signal I need all over WV, VA, PA and NJ ? Let's try to get this story straight - who in ALL of WV has the best coverage in Williamson, Matewan, etc AND still has full nationwide coverage?
