I get on 39 from Rt. 60 heading to Marlinton. part of Rt. 60 and 39 on to marlinton I can't get a signal not even a roaming signal

there is no receiption from bluewell to duhring about 6 miles

My daughter attends Glenville State College. Last year she had service but we were on digital. Now that we've switched to the GSM service... .it stinks. She has no service at all in some places. At least with digital she had a signal at all times. Sometimes it may have been weak but that is better than "no service". I am seriously thinking about switching back. Is that possible?

Thank you for the information on Elkins. I am looking to purchase a Cingular plan, but I tried a month ago and when I got the phones, there was no service. I do have a question though, what do you mean by "customers from the eastern region?" Why does Elkins not have coverage for all Cingular customers, and if I order a new nationwide plan for elkins, will it work for me or do I have to wait till the end of the year. I really just want to make sure that it is going to work this time when I order the plan. Last time I ordered Cingular told me for sure that it would work in Elkins, and it didn't, and that is why I got a free month from them and no longer have service.

Does anyone know if Cingular is working in Elkins yet?

Very little cell coverage in Pendleton County, except in Franklin, Upper Tract, and a couple small stretches of WV 28 -- one just N of Riverton and one in the Circleville area. To their credit, Cingular is only carrier willing to provide any service in the county.

Beech Fork State Park is only 13 miles from the city limits.

Still waiting on GSM service in the Elkins calling area. Travel frequently to this area and loose service after Petersburg, WV.
