I recently up-graded from a Samsung phone to a Kyocera because my Samsung got damaged. I always had 2 bars with good reception on the Samsung. I have no service with the Kyocera.
No reception since they turned the analog tower off in Grantsville. AT and T has the monopoly there now, with the GSM network, which doens't work well at all. Works in the town of Grantsville, but no where else. US Cellular / Verizon / Alltell needs to put up a digital tower for those that no longer have service due to analog towers being turned off.
There is no reception from Justice, WV to Bluewell, WV when traveling Rt. 52. In addition, there is no signal from Justice, WV to Beckley, WV when traveling Rt. 97. There are many areas around the Gilbert, WV area that are total dead spots. Aren't there any towers in Souther WV.
You get NO SERVICE at all. If they would add a tower here in St. George, they would get more customers. I know many people that have switched to nTelos and Sprint because of having no service, but they would switch back if they had service here. If they would add a tower here, I assure you that It would cover St. George, and plus give some signal down clover, and even toward Philippi, if they put it in a good location. If they want to keep me as a customer, by the end of this contract, they better be better service in this location.
After you turn off Rt. 2 there is reception for approx 2 mi. Then none. We just bought a piece of property 3 mi from WV 2 and have been with Verizon for 15 years. HELP! Was hoping to get multiple service pack from Verizon. Now what do I do. Also our business will be set up there. Cell phones are the only way we go and with moving the business there now we will be forced to a land line. Can't you boost the tower? You can see it on WV 2 where you turn off, and it works for 2 mi in. Also there is service at the end of the Road, just not the 3 mi between.
