There seems to be a uniform "dead spot," in the Glenwood. My family has Sprint, US Cellular, and CellOne and neither of the aformentioned carriers have even marginal signal in this area. A tower needs to be placed around the Glenwood area.

US Cellular and Cellular One are the only good providers in this area. Tried Verizon, Sprint, nTelos. No service at my house and I am in the city limits.

I think all cell providers need to increase the reception and towers in the Mercer / McDowell / Wyoming and Monroe County areas. We all pay the fees for the service in the entire area but are limited in use of the phone. Maybe discounted unavailable options need to be addressed. I travel these areas daily and with elderly parents I need to have the coverage in case of emergencies while on the road.
There is no reception from Justice, WV to Bluewell, WV when traveling Rt. 52. In addition, there is no signal from Justice, WV to Beckley, WV when traveling Rt. 97. There are many areas around the Gilbert, WV area that are total dead spots. Aren't there any towers in Souther WV.
AT and T had to dismantle their tower since it was located on land owned by a mining company. So, we lost service and AT and T doesn't plan to build a new tower until December 2009. In the interim, they have placed two temporary towers on top of a mountain where, ironically, no on lives. Hence, we still have no service. Customer service has been poor to say the least. Few, if anyone from AT and T returns calls or follows-up on our concerns.
This is a joke not to have cell phone serice cell one has a monoploy and they know it. If u are not going to put a tower in u should not buy the rights

I just sent a letter of input on my husbands phone and mine is no better but is an older phone. I truly am getting more and more disappointed over the way the coverage has gotten worse instead of better over the years. Debra Harman Ballard, WV 24918 1-304-753-6395
