Glidden is always the last to get anything if ever. They have towers around Glidden but left us just out of reach. The only place you can get any reception at all is up at the top of the hill by the church. It is always busy up there with people trying to get any signal so they can make a phone call. Please get a tower in Glidden so we can use the service that we pay for in our own town.

Tower in Bad river does not carry Alltel, but did carry Cell One. No signal from Hwy. 169 23 miles west to Ashland; no signal 20 miles SE to Mellen, or 2 miles south of Mellen to Park Falls. Maybe a text message if you're lucky? Please consider a tower at the top of the "hill" near Ashland / Iron County line. Respectfully, Diane

AWFUL. Many times inside the house the phones won't even ring- they go straight to voicemail. I have to hold my phone up by the windows to get text messages to send. Their customer service is good, but that doesn't help much when you can't make a call...

From May 5 on, with a new LG phone, I have not been getting service. Calls drop. Can't hear party on other end or they cannot hear me. Phone indicates that it is connected but no one is on the line and the connection time is adding up. I lose Bluetooth settings. Have changed phones five times. Motorola works better than LG green and I am now forced to "test" another LG green before I can get rid of the LG's. Motorola phone worked fine UNTIL the merger. Have had NO RESPONSE to a trouble ticket.

paid $225 for a wireless extender works ok if within 15 feet of unit. without it,no service! the price we pay living in the middle of nowhere!

Constantly loses reception and drops calls. My old Motorola worked better than the Blackberry. Samsung Delve got absolutely no reception.

alltell phone service sucks they say they have good service I drop calls every 1 to 2 min

AT&T worked great in these areas, but Alltel gets no reception, except that I can receive occasional texts. Need a tower between hwy 70 east and Manitowish Waters. Tried numerous phones. Guess I might have to go back to AT&T and deal with there terrible customer service.

There is almost no reception at all One minute you have three bars the next 0. I can call from home if I stand out on the upper deck on the bench in the left hand corner of the house. There are dead areas in Nelsonville and forget reception on Hwy. 66 it is nonexistant.

Horrible reception, not the phone's fault however. We actually tried AT&T and wound up with the same bad reception. It seems that we're in a dead zone.
