When I moved, I decided to forget the landline. Received a corporate discount package from either Sprint or Verizon. Went with Sprint because the Verizon Phones we received through work were useless near the lake. Unfortunately, The Sprint phone is Useless at home. I rarely have reception indoors anywhere. At home, I have to stand in a corner to have a conversation where either party can hear. If I leave the very front of our house, the call drops. My wife has US Cellular. Has a signal everywhere in the house. When we head toward Wausau and Beyond (Via Oshkosh or occasionaly Green Bay) Only loses signal for about 2 miles on US 45 About a mile NW of Oshkosh. That is the only service gap she has. Unfortunatly, she roams anythin north of Stevens Point.

I used to get reception on my razr---but only a bar or two. My fiance gets decent reception on his smartphone, and I can't get a single bar on my new one. Going back to the store tomorrow.

Bought new phone and got rid of sprint. Verizon said the coverage was perfect here. Today is the first day with the new phone and it is awful. No service! Great decision to switch companies for better coverage and get the same crap.

We get either no signal at all or an occasional one bar, but it usually doesn't last during a call. The nearest tower is all the way in Cross Plains. We even added a larger outdoor antenna, but it really doesn't make much difference. So basically our cell phones are useless at home.
