Downtown Waterloo, Waterloo, WI 53594 |

Just moved to the area and signed up with Cingular. No reception at work (west edge of town), only occasional reception at home (just east of downtown). Night time seems worse. I have walked the entire downtown of Waterloo at night and found no signal anywere. Customer service was fantastic and it was completely painless to cancel the service after having the phone for a week.

Switched to Cingular from US Cellular when I lived near Madison and had great reception. Moved out here to Blue Mounds and have had absolutely no reception. Why isn't US Cellular GSM?!?! I love my phone but it's completely worthless here.

I used to have great service with AT&T but ever since Cingular bought them out I got NO reception at my house or at work. I spoke with someone at T-Mobile and was told that they have excellent coverage in Franklin and Brookfield. Since those locations are the two places that I really need to use my phone I decided to give it a try. BIG mistake! T-Mobile sucks just as much as having non-exsisting phone service. I have no reception at home, driving to work, at work and just about EVERY where else, oh except in Mayfair mall. That seems to be the only place I have a signal. I started out using a Motorola phone then tried a Samsung phone. After two unsuccessful attempts to get a signal, the sales manager actually gave me HIS phone (Nokia) to take back to work with me to test the signal - NOTHING. I'm not sure what to do at this point. However, everyone in my office has at least 3 bars on their phone with Verizon. Maybe i'll give that a try... I won't hold my breath.

This is 3 blocks from I-94 and no reception. Four towers within 4 miles of this intersection. Cingular claims that there are no GSM towers in this area, yet their map shows coverage here.

I currently live in Voyager Village in Danbury / Webster area. I work and Siren and travel all trhough out the Siren-Webster-Spooner-Danbury area. Cellular One is great all teh way up Hwy. 53 into Spooner. Heading out of Spooner on Hwy. 70 heading to Siren you start losing signal off and on. In town of Siren I get full reception but lose it some heading North to Webster. On County A heading from Webster to Voyager I lose the signal. No signal in voyager. Actually it says I have 1-3 bars but when you make it call it never connects. Go figure. The signal starts to come back the closer I get to Spooner. Hwy. 70 heading to Grantsburg I get spotty reception. At top of hill in G-burg I get full reception. I lose it again heading to Rock Creek, MN. Then when I get to I-35 heading to Minneapolis I get full signal. I am looking for a new service that I can get service in Siren, Spooner, and Voyager Village. Anyone got any suggestions? I hope this helps. I know how frustrating it is!

rumor has it that former AT&T customers are getting poor reception because Cingular is shutting down the old towers to try to force the old AT&T customers to switch to Cingular (a.k.a more expensive) plans
