If you are looking at service from AT&T and travel or live west of Fond Du Lac and Oshkosh in places such as Ripon, Green Lake, and Berlin be aware. Once you get a few miles out of Fond Du Lac or Oshkosh AT&T looses signal and even though your phone continues to display AT&T you are actually roaming either on Einstein PCS, or IWireless depending on the area traveled. If you live or spend considerable amounts of time in these areas and are looking for a wireless provider I would look elsewhere.

I've had Att@t for about 2 years now. I had problems getting a reception in my house and was told my phone wasn't known for great reception. I bought a phone known for great reception... ..nope no reception. Frequently in any house and a lot of stores in Appleton I get no reception and dropped calls. One more year and I'm on to Alltel, it looks like.

Horrible reception, not the phone's fault however. We actually tried AT&T and wound up with the same bad reception. It seems that we're in a dead zone.

absolutely no bars in my house. need to go to neighbor across street to get any signal. great! So much for replacing lland line

Have had Cingular for past 5 yrs. When AT&T bought them out we lost signal. we had the best service in town now we have none.

Dead zone. All calls are lost when passing East Washington on Stoughton Road.

I never had such a bad coverage from Verizon. Never had a 'no service' whether in Bozeman(MT), St. Cloud(MN), but right now in Prescott (WI), its horrible. Never had so many drop calls in my life. Cingular works perfect here with full 5 bar. Verizon hardly get 2 bar or so and once you get into a building, its 'searching for service' and one day at work will drain your battery dry. Verizon is just horrible here. Will switch to Cingular if I have to stay here longer.

I get no reception in my home most of the time. I also get only sporadic reception anywhere from fort to whitewater

why even have the phone if you can only use it on the interstate. sometimes it doesn't even work well there. since we live in the country we get the best phones we can and still no bars. we even bought car antenas once but that was a waste. u.s.cellular is my work carrier and it works fine. we even offered to let them(verizon) build a tower on our land but they didn't even bother to answer or offer.

I have tried Verzon Wireless, Altel, Sprint, etc - NO RECEPTION. Country living - gotta love it.
