Old system worked great, no drops or any problems New system - SUCKS. No reception, in or out. The phone is an emergency thing for dr. and hosp. Have been putting up with excuses from co. for a year. Fixing tower, new tower coming, I need to get digital sts. Did - no service. Their statment of NEVER A DROPPED CALL is true - Can't make a call, so no dropped call. Will not adjust fees paid. Last comment by tech was that they know that there is a proplem, but tough beens. How about a class action suite??

No reception locally at all unless within a few miles either side of Park Falls, Hayward, Ladysmith, Birchwood, Phillips, etc. Excellent service in all major cities, interstates and some remote areas, too-just not here! They need to utilize the tower in town!

T-Mobile has very little to no reception in this area of town. We have two lines of service and two different phones and for the most part I cannot make phone calls in my home and need to run outside to be able to hold a call. The signal strenght fluctuates constantly and most of my incoming calls don't even ring on our two lines they just go directly to voicemail because. T-Mobile has been the most unhelpful -- insisting that they provide adequate service in the area. BTW, when you make a service complaint all they do is just look it up on their little map to see if they "provide service" where you live and / or if there are any major intteruptions. Since they don't actually come out and try and make a phone call from where you are having issues they will always tell you that they are providing satisfactory service and not offer to help further.

Visiting the area from northern Illinois and expected to have coverage by Verizon, but no luck anywhere near this point. Kind of disturbing to think that an emergency call could not be made with Verizon.

Horrible, horrible. I have been with Sprint for awhile (w / several different phones) and NONE of them work in N. Wisconsin. They will work if your in the city of Rhinelander, but travel just a few miles, and they're completely dead. I have a friend who uses Alltel, and her phone always works. Occasionally, I can get reception while IN MINOCQUA- but it's extremely poor and really isn't worth trying to call someone.

I constantly will go to roam on alltel's network in the area of reisterer and schnell this is a known "dead zone" for US cell that they are "in the process" of fixing.
