Major USCC Dead spots! The entire city works had gread reception with USCC except Johnson St., and Gorham, in that neighborhood. Always drops calls while passing through there. Also, when near the Midvale Blvd. south of University Ave., 0 signal strength. I know this because my doctor's office is there. Sometimes the phone will go to analog, and drain your battery. I'm assuming this is because of the NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) hypocrites. Those are the people who complain about cell reception, but don't want cell sites in there neighborhoods.
Don't expect to take your Cingular GSM phone north of Madison, and have it work. Cingular has no native coverage north of Madison, but whatever carrier it is, sucks, I get moderate reception, until about the Dells, then after that, NO service whatsover, until I get to about Eagle Rive / Rhinelander, then Dobson picks up, and get great service with them.
I own a cabin in Eagle River Wisconsin and I was happy that I would be covered. But an hour away from Milwaukee you go under Cingular Extended all the time and never Cingular. So even though there is good coverage, covered by a different carrier, I can't give any credit to Cingular.

Recently moved here and now I can't use a cell phone until my contract runs out and I can take my number with me. Well I guess that's not completely fair of me, I have reception, just roaming, so it's not AT&T reception.
I am from New Berlin but recently I have taken a trip to the Dells. It is a very busy place, but horrible reception. I kept going from Cingular Extend with ok sreception to Cingular with just 1 to 2 bars. And a half of mile out from the Dells absoutly no reception anywhere. I am pretty shure that it is under coverage though, so Cingular did a horrible job in that area.
Seems not to care about clients 5 miles north of Green Bay. Requests for assistance to rectify an internal glitch have gone unanswered in the Green Bay area but I've been told by their salespeople that they may pull this account only because they say they can. When I am in the Madison area, (where I originally purchased my service), it's like I'm on another planet, service is great and the personnel are exceptional. Fact is anything south of Green Bay is ideal reception and no dropped calls.
AT&T needs to provide service in this area. There is service 20 miles east and south of this intersection. The only other area I get service is in Whitewater. Walworth County Needs GSM SERVICE!!!
